I am a third generation multi Emmy winning Hollywood Sound Design veteran and music composer. I have been involved in creating soundscapes for film, television and interactive entertainment products for well over 25 years now. I have worked with cutting edge audio technologies and professionals from celluloid film to analog tape, and was a core part of the team that developed the first digital audio workstation used in motion pictures. My soundscapes have been an element in many Iconic films and television shows like Bram Stoker’s Dracula and the X-files. Core Faculty Professor Of Digital Arts And SciencesInternational Technological University (Itu) Sep 2016 - PresentSan Jose, CaliforniaI am an Emmy Award winning Sound Engineer with decades experience in the industry and have an earnest interest in teaching and working with ITU that began with the relationship that he developed two years ago. We have gone to great lengths and considerable expense to establish a post production sound facility on campus. This goes hand in hand with three popular courses that I teach in Sound Production; Sound Design, Sound Recording, and Post Production Sound Recording. I am also involved in every Capstone Project that involves video and a soundtrack and has been extremely valuable in bringing our live event sound capabilities to a whole new level. I am also spearheading the development of our Augmented and Virtual Reality concentrations and requisite hardware and software acquisitions while teaching courses related to the fields of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality. These are already very popular courses and have gained interdisciplinary consilience among the other department programs. Duties and responsibilities:- Teach a minimum of two courses or the Capstone Advisory equivalent per trimester.- Supervise our Sound Facilities for use in our academic courses, student projects, institutional promotional and archival projects, professional certificates, and contracted revenue generating contracts within the professional industry. This includes our post production recording and editing facilities and sound recording for live events as needed.- Supervise and manage our Augmented Reality Lab for course purposes, student projects, research, and institutional applications.- Supervise and manage our Virtual Reality Lab for course purposes, student projects, research, and institutional applications- Attend department meetings - Assist in DA student orientations.- Assist in developing and facilitating Professional Certificate Programs for DA and Production. -

I was brought on board to take charge of audio design, content creation and implementation for a new marvel comic book franchised video game. We used the Unreal 3 video game engine in conjunction with the Wwise audio middleware. This was all sewn together nicely by a few internally developed wrapper systems for versioning and random generation of environments for an on line platform title. I was extremely happy and challenged here, however the contract for this production is slated to expire in June of 2012. -

My position was of studio executive board level, I was tasked with driving the development of the audio content creation and implementation for the next generation gaming consoles the X-Box360n PS3, Wii the P.C. I also completed design, renovation, and construction, of a complete video game production studio in the city of Moorpark that would eventually house 3 AAA production teams, and could cover up to 4 titles in production at any given time. I was also deeply involved with the corporate core technology group working on solutions for audio / video streaming, and audio middleware modification. I was highly respected by my studio head, and technical director and they are still my mentors. I still maintain a close relationship with most of my co-workers from Midway.
