Responsible for the daily operation of all Public Safety technology platforms and applications. Maintain the reliability of the network with regards to desktop, peripheral, wireless and mobile applications. Responsible for the electronic security of Public Safety Center. Maintain all Public Safety user accounts in Active Directory, computer file access, camera access and phone recording systems. Audit all systems to assure CJIS, Accreditation and HIPPA regulations are being followed. Act as the Police Department’s Keeper of the Records, responsible for maintaining accurate files of all department records. Oversee process for reviewing and coding police officer reports and arrest reports; track down information on incomplete reports; categorize and supervise National Incident Reporting (NIBRS) data for the FBI and state police. Supervise and train support staff in the Records Division; coordinate and direct work flow; schedule staff and work assignments; prioritize and delegate work.

• Plan, design and implement business software applications to meet the needs of all town and school departments. In consultation with business analysts, project managers, application specialists, database managers and department staff, analyze and design software solutions to meet business needs.• Determine and document business processes, business rules, business requirements and translate these into technology requirements in consultation with department staff.• Create requirements documents to guide selection of third-party packaged applications. Manage all aspects of software acquisition process including contract, licenses, price negotiations and Service Level Agreements.• Design software architectures that link together multiple third- party packages, custom software implementations, internal and external data sources to meet business needs.• Develop and oversee project plans for the successful implementation of internal and third- party applications. Use project management software to document project deliverables, timetable, responsibilities, and to communicate current project status to all stakeholders. Create best practices and standards for project governance.

Design, purchase, install and maintain the administrative network used by Town Hall and several other locations. This included creation of the LAN/WAN and administration of all windows servers and active directory implementation.

Design, installation and administration of a 25 user Novell NetWare 4.1 network.
