• Managed the construction of a 100,000 sqft storage facility and 3 custom homes.• Took raw land all the way to the construction phase with creative engineering, planning, legal analysis, and negotiations with sellers, investors, land planners, and local AHJs.• I managed the mobilization of 2 command centers for EPA Region 6 for the Hurricane Harvey Superfund remediation response. Contracted for the rapid assembly and deployment of 120 temporary mobile housing units and all accompanying services such as security, telecommunications, electrical, water/wastewater, sanitation, cleaning, and laundry services across 2 campuses within 8 days. We demobilized the 2 campuses with equal speed upon completion of the contract so as not to burden local citizens.• The remainder of my time at Knepp Inc has been spent strategic planning for the growth of the business, construction sales, and the purchasing and development of land for real estate deals. Specifically, the last 2 years have been spent bringing an undeveloped but prominent property through the planning department to turn an underutilized piece of land into a safe and beneficial destination for tourists to the city. I have spent my time counseling with lawyers and meeting with city officials on how to best meet the needs of the city, the citizens, and our investment partners.

• I was one of several project managers on a 250,000 sqft solar cell manufacturing project where the original contractor failed to progress. For our scope of contract, I was able to take the original budget of $5M down to $4.2M through creative value engineering and subcontractor negotiations. We completed our work on time and under budget while netting a reasonable profit. • The client would not have met the state-mandated employment deadlines if not for my creative solutions to start up the clean room manufacturing lines while construction was ongoing. The client was able to achieve satisfactory manufacturing yields validating the clean construction methods we used. Not only did the client save money on our budgetary line items but also millions in state funding, tax incentives, and the more efficient startup for the other contractors and equipment vendors.

• As Chief Operating Officer for RayMax Solar I led the startup operations and established the Western Division office for RayMax Solar based out of Irvine, California. The mobilization effort required me to perform all the leasing and purchasing associated with starting a new office in a new market.• After startup, I was responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operations including legal counsel, strategic planning, internal accounting, budgeting, training, marketing, hiring, construction management, and the obtaining of permits and licensing for 28 local AHJs.• I also negotiated rates and agreements between electricians, roofers, homeowners, and utility providers in the area.• I was responsible for the employee management as well hiring staff and vendors as necessary for the completion of the projects. I trained sales staff on the nature of the product and brought in outside experts to help increase sales productivity. I organized sales campaigns and designed the parameters for the sales team to distribute flyers and sales material. I designed the website and participated in the design and filming of the promotional materials and commercials.

I ran a family-based Immigration practice where I successfully helped DREAMers obtain Deferred Action and drafted contracts for business clients. I also advised a client on the purchase and acquisition of a local insurance branch and associated book of business.

As owner of Silent K Productions, I worked with aspiring filmmakers from the University of Texas to help them produce high quality films.
