•Working towards a monthly delivery package for Debt Manager 6 changes. Working on a mix of projects and system fixes each month, managing timescales to ensure timely delivery and working on several brands across various regulatory jurisdictions.•Helping to create Business requirement documents while working with the project manager and creating Functional Specification documents to meet the business requirement document.•Creating and amending existing router designs, building and testing all elements of the changes in a shared test environment.•Documenting post implementation checks and undertaking the checks once the change goes live.•Answering help desk emails which range from moving cases on Debt Manager using exception, investigating configuration issues which could lead to improvements being made to the system in future releases and answering general Debt Manager queries from across the whole RBS Debt Management operation.•Performing site visits with the operational areas that use Debt Manager to help them progress changes they want to make to the system. Also observe the use of the system to help with training or recommending changes to processes or to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities•Updating the entire centre’s Collections performance MI on a daily basis.•Liaising with the team manager population highlighting any particular performance issues from the previous day and after analysing trends more long term issues.•Reacting to any other data that the business needs and handing multiple requests at once for timely delivery.•Working closely with other business areas and centres to improve the MI delivered to the centres and to staff and call upon built relationships to help solve problems.

Responsibilities•Working as a collections advisor to make sustainable deals with customers who are in financial difficulty to bring them back within their facilities in a timely manner. Using Debt Manager 6.2 and earlier Debt Manager 4 to record the outcome of the call and key any arrangements made.•Making outbound calls to customer using an automated dialler to discuss the excess or arrears on their accounts.•Identifying any improvements to make the whole collections process more efficient.•Worked as my team’s Continuous Improvement representative. Collating and prioritising ideas generated by the team and taking them forward to change requests if needed and liaising with other teams in the business to solve problems.•Undertook a team manager role for 6 months managing a high value debt team, covering for my team manager who was seconded out of the business. The team performance was maintained as the top performing team in the centre.
