I work to cultivate fearlessness, candor, integrity in work, and, most importantly, a culture of trust.With over 24 years in software, I have honed an ability to navigate and clarify technical complexity, using my experience as a senior software architect to craft elegant and functional solutions to crippling problems. I have worked across myriad industries and technology stacks. This experience, along with an insatiable appetite for books, has provided me with many insights: what drives businesses today, how to organize successful software teams, how to scale complex systems to meet international demand, how to deliver value through products, and how to market to consumers.My aptitudes lie in product development (mobile, web, desktop, and consoles), project facilitation (utilizing agile, common sense, transparency, meaningful metrics), AI expert systems, machine learning, data engineering, software optimization and scalability problems, visual design principles, testing & automation, as well as learning/teaching/evaluating new technologies.
