Over the course of 20+ years in the naval and commercial energy sectors I’ve had the privilege to lead in multiple highly engineered, highly protected and other specialty energy risk-oriented roles, advising those developing, owning, operating, buying or selling energy infrastructure assets globally.On two occasions since first joining Marsh directly from the Submarine force I’ve been fortunate to work full time for clients. Those leadership opportunities in both management and executive management centered around driving significant organizational change and risk finance optimization initiatives, which provided me multiple opportunities to serve on numerous advisory committees, boards and in positions which have helped to shape both client/buy-side and market/sell-side perspectives and positions on energy and power risk. I’ve generated and contributed to original thought leadership, presenting to both industry and government at every level in the U.S. and abroad. I am also frequent contributor and collaborator within multiple professionally moderated public and private forums, industry stakeholder groups and frequently consulted by independent media on energy, power, risk and finance topics. My personal perspectives are informed by delivering on executable strategies for nearly two decades as a committed advocate of organizations seeking to better manage and finance their energy and power risk.I'm passionate about engagement which is both inclusive and representative of the diversity of interests we have when it comes to the energy sector and society at large - and exceptionally pragmatic about what it’s going to take to evolve.Home is the Granite State where we can all Live Free or Die, but it’s the New York Islanders who I’d like to see win Lord Stanley’s cup. I love my family, attend summer camp regularly, and don’t give up the ship.
