Business Development Director supporting the growth and success of American Structurepoint's Cleveland and Akron design centers and responsible for identifying and engaging new clients, understanding their unique needs, and collaborating with our team to deliver innovative solutions.

Direct, manage, and provide client development leadership for Intertek-PSI’s Northeast Ohio regional operations including Cleveland, Canton, and Youngstown, OH. Responsibilities include managing key client relationships, tracking key market information, facilitating strategic business development meetings, motivating and training others, client and project pursuits, professional organization participation and networking. Work closely with local and regional operations to build client base with focus on A&E, education, local/state government, private development, and other sectors.

Manage, motivate, and facilitate staff with business development/sales responsibilities to build relationships to secure new and repeat work. Includes development of client and project specific strategies for the firm's varied client types, early client engagement to identify target projects, development of differentiation strategies, and assistance with overall business development process including proposals and interviews. Work closely with firm leadership to develop and manage market specific business plans for future growth and expansion. Also serve as the firm manager of electronic feedback system to gather valuable feedback and measure overall client experience to strengthen client relationships, deliver on client expectations, and secure repeat work.

Implementation and management of marketing, business development, and client experience efforts of growing 270+ employee engineering, architecture, and planning firm. Responsible for development and execution of proposal and interview activities to secure new work. Accountable for strategy development and messaging to properly align the firm with client needs and goals and position our teams for success. Responsible for client experience program resulting in increased client knowledge, loyalty, and success.
