Performed high-level system requirements definition and analysis to enhance performance of an existing surveillance aircraft.■ Initiated development of customer-level requirements, allowing design team to proceed on schedule.■ Modeled scenarios and analyzed current system performance, baselining performance against which improvements could be measured.■ Instrumental in developing the Rhapsody system design and system/subsystem definition in a low cost open-architecture radar design.■ Developed a Rhapsody model supporting the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) modular open systems architecture common back end.■ Generated requirements, executed flowdown, determined performance measures, performed trade studies and identified test approach, culminating in the successful implementation in FPGA hardware for a corporate-level IR&D project.Managed Surveillance Radar (SR) tracker requirements development and flowdown for the Medium Extended Air Defense System (MEADS). Interacted with customer and worked closely with German and Italian teammates in this multinational joint venture.■ Led the SR tracker Software Requirements Specification (SRS) development team, delivering well-accepted Rhapsody model, SRS and interface specification to stakeholders.■ Analyzed tracker performance; result presented in design reviews to validate approach and apprised customer.■ Chosen to be the SR technical liaison for Classification/Discrimination/Identification (CDI) requirements and interfaces, and provided early identification/assessment of program baseline impact due to CDI ADD revisions, enabling savings in budget/resources.

Provided the systems and technical leadership on the EMIRS airborne radar program. Responsibilities included Systems planning, requirements generation and flowdown and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs).■ Selected as Lead Systems Engineer (LSE) as well as Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) lead from program inception through successful major program reviews. Under my integrated product team leadership, all SEIT contract deliverables were provided early/on-time.■ Prepared Systems costing inputs for a follow-on proposal effort; resulting in being awarded the contract.■ Served as Control Account Manager (CAM) for all SEIT cost accounts, providing monthly Earned Value (EV) reports.■ Prepared multiple sections for the major program design reviews, Preliminary (PDR) and Critical (CDR), and ensured entry criteria were satisfied.

Analyzed performance of AN/SQQ-89(V)14 major segment, identified and localized problems to software / hardware configuration items, and set priorities for the Software team.■ Facilitated integration completion, enabling project to move forward and meet the formal performance test milestone.As Lead Systems Engineer for AN/SQQ-89 Active Adjunct Processor (AAP) project, negotiated system specification requirements with the customer. Performed trade studies, architecture development, HW/SW allocation, and loading analyses. Chosen to manage Systems team, provided status to management and collaborated with Software, Integration and Test teams to meet contract deliverable dates.
