While I often refer to myself as an “accidental consultant” – having stumbled upon this career after stints as a travel writer, dot-commer and consortium builder – it seems appropriate now, after 20+ years in the field, to drop the “accidental” from my moniker. I am a process consultant who truly enjoys partnering with clients to transform their organizations, their teams and themselves. I also truly enjoy adventure, like the one I embarked on in 2017, when I joined five colleagues to launch a new consulting firm – Nvolv. Our ambition was to partner with forward-thinking, kind-hearted, courageous leaders whose organizations are undertaking complex transformations. We did that and more. The adventure continued in mid-2023, when Nvolv was acquired by Russell Reynolds Associates. My role at RRA has many facets: on any given day, you might find me coaching a client project team, designing a change program, re-designing a process, codifying a client’s strategic framework, writing a marketing presentation, editing a proposal, or helping to chart company strategy. Like several of my RRA colleagues, my expertise is in leading and managing change, process consulting and executive coaching.
