IoT is a journey that involves the strategy of collecting data from devices, connecting those devices to the Cloud, curating the data generated by the devices and creating compelling visualizations of the data in web and mobile applications. Each step of the journey has numerous choices associated with it that include questions about sensors, radios, cloud platforms and UI technologies. TeraCode has developed a multi-stage process for helping our clients tackle these challenges.

At Inceptor I was responsible for developing and leading the vision for our industry-leading search marketing tools. Inceptor was an early leader in the search marketing industry and developed the first SaaS-based platform for managing search content and eventually managing online bidding activity. Our development organization was awarded 11 patents in the search vertical, including patents for tracking and analytics from search traffic, url virtualization, bid optimization and click fraud detection.

While at QDM I lead multiple projects for clients such as Gillette, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Allied Domeq (Dunkin Donuts brand), and the World Bank. My role involved helping client develop specification, user experience design, managing development resources, training and delivery of solutions.

I was responsible for several gaming franchises including Jack Nicklaus Golf. One of our big accomplishments was the implementation of a realistic physics model for Jack Nicklaus 5 which enabled any camera angle on the avatars as well as the very well received course design studio that allowed players to create unlimited courses and share them online.

I was responsible for several game franchises while at Westwood Studios including portions of Red Alert, Blade Runner, Lands of Lore and Monopoly.

I was responsible for helping to launch the publishing capabilities of LookingGlass in the early 90's. The flagship product was Flight Unlimited, known as the first flight simulator to simulate real physics in the flight environment (as well as being the first PC game to require a pentium processor). Flight Unlimited had a huge launch and was well received. Other products I worked on while at LookingGlass included British Open Golf which was the first golf game to license the old course at St. Andrews.
