Lead all public and graduate student programming, as well as marketing and communications for the institution.-Supervise, mentor, and provide leadership opportunities to a team of (10) students in the College through the Global Voices Metcalf Internship Program and a team of (15) graduate students through the Global Program Fellows Internship.-Lead the selection process for and engagement of 90 annual non-resident Graduate Fellows.-Produce over 75 public events annually through the Global Voices Performing Arts and Lecture Series. In collaboration with graduate student interns and fellows, create over 100 programs annually to address the needs of the graduate student population at the university, with a particular focus on international graduate students.-Engage over 50 university and Chicago community partners in International House programming activities.

Lead volunteer Events Team and play key role as member of the Governance Committee for young nonprofit focused on global interdependence. -Directed young leaders volunteer team, organizing three virtual interdependence summits viewed by over 1,000,000 people from nearly 100 countries.-Planned all aspects of the summits including, agenda content; web content; media (social and traditional); and technology; speakers included: Dr. Tedros Adhanom, Director-General, WHO; His Holiness the Dalai Lama; opera singer Renee Fleming; former Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti; and many others.-Headed partnership creation for the summits, building and leveraging relationships with over 20 partners from around the world, leading to increased summit outreach and exposure.-Created other virtual events, including: Water and Sanitation for All: The Fight Against Pandemics; Interdependence in Action: Building a New Framework for Solving Global Problems; and Vaccine Equity: The Interdependence Challenge of Our Time.

Led association’s programming and resources that contributed to thought leadership and knowledge generation in international education. -Managed research and scholarship agenda for the organization, leading intellectual collaboration across departments to develop high quality learning resources and publications relevant to international education. -Oversaw global programs portfolio, which included the Global Dialogue Fellows Program, Africa Forum, Latin America Forum, Seminar on Peace and Social Justice, Global Issues Forum, and the Simon Award for Campus Internationalization. Developed annual events and related programming and resources throughout the year.

Directed team of approximately 20, implementing university's global engagement plans and policies. Oversaw four different areas, including global centers, initiatives and partnerships, operations, and external relations and communications. Provided leadership and direction for staff and served as a resource for campus-based and global center-based colleagues on matters of strategy, planning, and execution. Supervised all programming and operational aspects of university's global centers in Beijing, Hong Kong, and Delhi. Traveled extensively around the world, particularly in Asia. Oversaw multimillion-dollar budget.-Played key role on senior leadership team, launching the newly named Center in Hong Kong.-Collaborated to create agreements with the University of Tokyo, Wuhan University, University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and others.

Served as senior member of the Global Engagement Office developing and implementing the University's global engagement plans and policies in Chicago and around world. Provided leadership and direction for staff and served as a resource for campus-based and international center-based colleagues on matters of strategy, planning, and execution. Spearheaded partnerships and initiatives with institutions and entities around world. Traveled extensively.-Helped launch new university center in Hong Kong and facilitated creation of numerous MOUs with entities in countries around the world. -Engaged tens of delegations from entities in countries around the world. -Launched U.S.-China Forum in collaboration with the China-U.S. Exchange Foundation.-Relaunched Diplomatic Encounters Series, better engaging local, national and international diplomatic communities. Created annual event co-hosted by the president of the University and head of the consular corps in Chicago to build better ties between the university and diplomatic community.

Supervised $1,000,000+ budget.-Led team creating and fundraising for annual Asia 21 Young Leaders, Women Leaders of New Asia, Diversity Leadership Forum, and Williamsburg initiatives. -Grew Asia 21 Young Leaders network into grouping of more than 700 Young Leaders across all sectors and representing over 25 countries. -Launched Asia 21 spin-offs including Afghanistan 21 Young Leaders Initiative and India-Pakistan Regional Young Leaders Initiative. -Oversaw research initiatives, including publications such as “Rising to the Top? A Report on Women's Leadership in Asia” and annual Asian-Pacific Americans’ corporate survey.
