As a functional manager, I provide technical vision and leadership across multiple teams, driving innovation and concept development for smart infusion systems. My focus is on creating robust, sustainable solutions that integrate with healthcare information systems to improve patient outcomes and clinical efficiency.Functional Management Responsibilities:• Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of architects, ensuring alignment with BD's strategic goals.• Shape long-term technical direction, collaborating with senior leadership on project priorities and resource allocation.• Foster a collaborative environment to integrate diverse technologies and solutions seamlessly.Key Accomplishments:• Spearheaded contributions to the IHE Technical Framework, shaping protocols and drafting influential white papers.• Led the development of alarm management solutions, enhancing patient comfort and safety in hospital environments.• Championed smart barcode technology to help clinicians identify remote programming availability.• Modernized interoperability testing protocols, aligning them with domain-driven design and FDA guidance.• Advanced interoperability with PCA modules, expanding BD’s integration capabilities.• Oversaw the development of an HL7-based Hospital Information System simulator integrating BD's product portfolio.• Led the architecture and design of Over the Air (OTA) update capabilities for the Alaris System, ensuring seamless and secure software updates.• Drove innovations, resulting in multiple intellectual property filings and patents.
