With more than 250 events per year, responsibilities include over-seeing every aspect of private and corporate events (including celebrity appearances/ performances, concerts, fundraisers, bar/ bat mitzvahs, weddings, sweet sixteen’s, themed functions, etc). Michael Langsner is responsible for consistent record breaking sales and continues to build the banquet and event business despite tough economic times. Michael has trained, motivated and managed staff of 100+. He follows industry trends to meet customer demands and challenge competitors. As KatManDu's assistant promotions director, Michael initially worked side by side with the Marketing Director for a two-venue facility. Projects, though, soon became autonomous. Michael was involved with radio buys, created and facilitated direct mail and email news groups, prepared press releases, radio copy points, and managed customer VIP program. He began his event management career in this position by overseeing promotional events including concerts, photo shoots, radio/ TV sponsored parties, and non-profit fundraisers. KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS: * Worked with ESPN to create an event for X-Games athletes and celebrities. * Worked with CBS to prepare Philly’s Official “Survivor” TV show finale party. * Worked with the Miss America pageant on a publicity event.* Coordinated various events with internationally recognized musical performers

Michael Langsner has the pleasure of saying he transformed a teenage hobby into a lucrative career in college, which continues to provide supplemental income. His responsibilities as the founder of Power Surge DJ's and Entertainment include: stage performance as an Emcee/Disc Jockey, sales, training and overall quality management. Clients include corporations, schools, bar/club accounts, private individuals and subcontracted work for other entertainment agencies. Michael also assists allied allied start-up entertainment agencies by providing business consulting to aid their growth .KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS: * Efficiently built and managed the business to a level that led to major account contracts were sold to another operator.* Recruited to perform at nationally recognized nightclubs in Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Atlantic City and throughout the Jersey Shore area.* Performed on stage at concert arenas, as an opening act, for major recording artists with attendance exceeding 9000 guests.* Broadcasted live mix-shows for several years on various FM and Internet based radio stations.
