• Provide and maintain strategic leadership and management• Represent and consult to the board on ICT initiatives also represent risk management and steering committee• Develop the ICT strategy and associated plans that influence and optimise both short- and long-term business objectives of the departments• Steering of e&m-commerce, call centre, technological enhancements• Together with the ICT teams formulate the information technology governance• Directing and participation of both information security steering committee and critical utilities forum• Capacity planning and projections (5 year view) • Ensure availability, support and maintenance of all systems in accordance with their business criticality • Define, negotiate and manage agreements with external vendors/suppliers in conjunction with the procurement policies, ensuring optimal value and protection of the department’s interests • Drive continuous improvement through the application of best practices and ensure adherence to policies and procedures• As an innovator, I constantly promote and motivate the use of new and leading-edge technology initiatives.• Prepare, manage and motivate ICT budgets in support of business goals and ensure consistent expenditure against plans over the financial year• Ensure appropriate lifecycle management of all ICT components, including applications, software, hardware and periphery devices • Track, promote and realise the business opportunities offered by new and emerging technologies including social media• Motivate and inspire the department and expand the business impact of ICT • Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate departmental staff.• Represent the department at various external ICT bodies• Service Management and delivery• Project management of various concurrent projects

* Consult to the executive teams and having direct responsibility for defining the groups approach to service delivery, outsourcing strategies, resource planning and the firm's overall ICT strategy* Sustainability of the RCS Group ICT infrastructure & bespoke development environment* Provide recommendations to Directors and Operations Managers on best practices in terms of Company’s ICT and new technology requirements* Responsible for the internal KPI reporting dashboards and the national rollout of the BI platforms to various corporate clients. (BI Gateway for customers)* Internal business support functions including (Finance, Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, Infrastructure & Procurement), responsible for all aspects IT service delivery, application development – infrastructure, service sourcing, resource management, ICT infrastructure, deployment and development and strategy planning.
