Designed and implemented the data modeling for content and configurable components in XML and JSON. • Recreated the Wordpress Superhero theme in Enonic XP including RSS support - modeled data structures in XML and JSON - wrote server-side JavaScript code and rewrote the HTML to use Thymeleaf templating. Created an AMP version of the site.• Created several public apps for the Enonic Market, including Chatrify, Disqus, LiveChat, Onepager, Poll app, and made contributions to others. Some of these apps make use of external services with authentication using JavaScript, Thymeleaf, jQuery. • Created Java/JavaScript libraries for Enonic XP, including the GeoIP library using the MaxMind database. Co-wrote the comprehensive Util-lib which is used by developers in almost every Enonic XP project. Contributed to the ReCAPTCHA library.• Created the Babel starter kit for Enonic XP which compiles ES6 to plain JavaScript for use on Nashorn server-side and front-end code as well as supports JSX for React projects. Also contributed to other starter kits including Bootstrap 3 and Vanilla.• Created a social intranet demo web app for Enonic XP using React and Bootstrap. • Created a Twitter Search web app for Enonic XP which captures and displays Tweets and user data for demo purposes. Instructor and course developer for Advanced Acoustic Analysis at the Fleet Anti-Submarine Warfare Training Center in San Diego, California. Taught laboratory analysis techniques and intelligence data relating to submarine detection and classification. Conducted research for creating and maintaining course material with the latest naval intelligence, producing PowerPoint lessons and printed textbooks for two course revisions over a three year period.

Supervised teams of U.S. Navy, British Royal Navy, and Royal Air Force personnel on the use of specialized underwater sensor systems at the Joint Maritime Facility, St. Mawgan, United Kingdom. Supervised the acoustic detection, classification, and reporting of submarines, warships, and cargo ships of interest for tracking in the Norwegian Sea and eastern Atlantic. Prepared intelligence reports and conducted briefings for higher naval authorities.

Served aboard the USS Chosin (CG-65) based out of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Started out as a sensor operator and maintenance technician for the underwater sensor systems. Promoted to Work-center Supervisor responsible for maintenance, diagnostics, fault isolation and repair of sonar equipment both hardware and software. Operational Sonar Supervisor responsible for coordinating the detection, tracking, and reporting of contacts with the underwater sensors and weapon systems. Participated in numerous naval exercises and three deployments throughout Asia, Australia, and the Persian Gulf.
