With an unerring eye for details beneath the surface, she possesses an innate sensibility for design that feels at once elevated and deeply meaningful. Brown began her career in luxury hospitality design at Wilson Associates. After graduating from Louisiana State University’s CIDA-accredited interior design program she took a leap with a move to New York City. Her time at the firm proved invaluable. As a young designer, it prompted a shift in her own creative process. While working on-site for projects in Asia and the Middle East, she saw first-hand all the moving parts behind the execution of her designs. It instilled an appreciation for the precision and production involved beyond her concepts for spaces and cultivated her belief that good designers must also be able to execute. Brown went on to lead high-profile projects as Senior Interior Designer at several top firms in the industry. From there, she further developed a keen spatial sensitivity centered on elegant spaces tailored to guest experiences. Ever eager to expand her knowledge and skillset, when the opportunity arose, she added brand identity to her repertoire. For her, an entity’s visual and vocal identity should be a natural extension of the design narrative, and vice versa. Touching both the tangible and intangible aspects of a project’s design in this way allowed her to ensure the story was told consistently across all touchpoints, creating a cohesive experience. Throughout her 15 years in the hospitality design industry, Brown has always tapped into her empathetic nature to develop strong connections between people and her work.
