We deliver results by serving as seated board members, CEO advisors, and interim or fractional C-Suite executives.Career Background:I am currently the CFO and Board member of Newport LLC and serve middle market companies as a CEO advisor, board member and business trusted advisor.I began my professional career with Ernst & Young and served as a partner in many external and internal roles since with EY. During my years with the firm, I served as a tax, audit and consulting services partner, specializing in real estate companies and publicly traded entities. I also served as the firm’s Global Director of the Real Estate and Construction Industry for several years serving many of the largest international real estate organizations in the U.S. and the world.I also served as a senior partner with responsibility for managing the firm’s investments in evolving growth companies and had responsibilities with respect to Quality and Risk Management across 30 countries.After my career at EY, I served as an advisor to Concern Worldwide and as project and country manager for a Maternal and Child Health projects funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.I joined Newport llc in 2012 and began my role as a contributing author for Forbes in 2014.I am also a licensed attorney, CPA and Chartered Accountant in the State of California.Contact me by email at: Michael.evans@newportllc.com
