    In this role, I was responsible to 'put out fires'. When an issue arose, I was sent in to triage its importance, identify the resources I needed to remedy the situation, fix it, identify and train a person to keep it under control and move on to the next issue. Specific examples of issues were the need for an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Integrated Master Plan (IMP) for an Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) with our customer in support of contractual obligations; the prior Master Scheduler was no longer with our company. I enrolled myself in a few classes, read several books, then spoke with IPT Leads and engineers to develop the IMS. Once the successful IBR was completed, a new scheduler was hired to administer it. When the Production Readiness Reviews (fka Willoughby templates) were announced, I was chosen to lead the 18 company review and travelled across the country with my Navy co-lead to determine if our subcontractors were prepared to transition from the SD&D Phase to the Pilot Production Phase. The triaging and 'on the job training' were not limited to external customer requirements-I coordinated the efforts for program level Non-Advocate Review (NAR) / Independent Cost Estimate (ICE) presentations and meetings. I also was asked to serve as Control Account Manager for proposal execution, ensuring everyone was charging properly and within established financial constraints while achieving meaningful; work products.
