As a business bank manager I managed a portfolio of clients as their primary point of contact with the Commonwealth Bank. My role consisted of the establishment, implementation and maintenance of the full suite of Commonwealth Bank commercial products such as: * Property finance* Asset finance* Cash flow facilities* Transactional accountsI also liaised closely with specialists in other parts of the bank identifying and converting opportunities in:* Home Loans* Merchant Facilities* FX * Debtor Finance* Trade Finance* Technology Leasing

Working alongside relationship managers in the corporate sector of Commonwealth Bank, my role was to assist with the acquisition, retention and structuring of asset finance transactions. Predominately dealing directly with high value clients, customer service was a priority to add value the clients overall banking relationship.This role included a strong business development focus on new to bank clients as well as identifying and developing referral sources.

The Labour Price Index Survey measures quarterly changes in Australian wages. and is an early indicator of wages pressure on inflation. An increase in the index suggests rising inflation pressures because firms tend to eventually pass higher labor costs onto consumers in the form of higher prices. In this role I developed competencies in converting raw data into meaningful statistics, allowing trends to be recognised and predictions made based off historical data. Dealing businesses which were surveyed on a non-optional basis allowed me to develop skills in complaint resolution and negotiation. I was also involved in new employee training.
