(Contract Role) Consultant engaged to refine and build on existing processes with a view to implementing CRM techniques into a real estate salesperson's activities.

Running the team that manages CRM and Customer Management Systems. With a heavy focus on J2EE I directly managed over 20 team members supporting and improving 12 core software applications that span end users across the business. I had responsibility for a $3m operational budget, as well as having delivery responsibility on a $3.3m compliance project and a $4.7m integration project.Some key achievements included:- Successful hardware virtualisation of many applications- Strengthening my team’s approach to Agile software development techniques- Significantly improving the team’s test strategies (including automation and continuous integration)- Successfully managing outsourced offshore and onshore software development projectsIn addition I was responsible for Identity and Access Management (IAM), Development Tools and Shared Java Applications. Bandhost was Australia's premier web hosting company designed specifically for musicians and the music industry. Apart from managing customer service and onboarding, I was also lucky enough to participate in some significant industry events through sponsorship and investment back into the music community. Some of these events included Big Sound, several "Battle of the Bands" and a handful of small festivals around Queensland.

As the Application Development Manager my role was to lead the team responsible for developing the software to manage provisioning, billing, customer relationship and account management for the hosting side of the company. I was responsible for up to 15 developers and testers, primarily developing in Cold Fusion, .NET, PHP and Microsoft SQL. With high profile clients including several large telecommunication providers there was a high focus on quality while maintaining delivery for tight timeframes.
