• Gained valuation experience building discounted cash flow and comparable company analyses for small to mid-cap companies across multiple industries including the home building, maritime shipping, and automotive sectors• Organized monthly equity screens for clients and senior management based on constraints of certain valuation multiples and important financial performance metrics in order to identify potentially undervalued companies• Evaluated relevant industry and macroeconomic data, interviewed company executives, attended investor presentations, and built sensitivity analyses which allowed for quick valuation calculations under different earnings scenarios• Formulated a model estimating the value of a leading company in the oriented strand board industry by making projections for housing starts, industry pricing, production capacity, utilization rate, and other necessary financial metrics

• Researched the venture capital funding and pharmaceutical partnership activity for microbiome startups looking to raise capital and/or be acquired by pharmaceutical companies• Prepared strategic presentation materials on the venture capital funding trends in the microbiome space that included industry research, competitive analyses, and forecasts for future VC activity• Compiled an extensive table of 100+ Venture Capital firms and 70+ industry partners that included descriptions, industries of focus, typical venture round financing stage involvement, key contacts, and recent funding activity

• Student-run organization that manages a long-equity investment fund with approximately $50k under management• Gained valuation experience for middle to large-cap industrials companies by building discounted cash flow and comparable company analyses and evaluating relevant industry and macroeconomic data• Collaborated with other industrials group members to pitch stock recommendations to other student portfolio managers
