I am a Principal of Porzio Bromberg & Newman, P.C. I represent clients in business and commercial disputes and litigation, with particular expertise handling Chancery litigation matters. Clients turn to me for a unique combination of experience, problem-solving abilities, thorough preparation, and deep commitment to serving my client's needs. My practice includes oppressed shareholder and other business divorce disputes and breakups, director and officer liability claims, restrictive covenant disputes, trade secret misappropriation, employment litigation, trust and estate litigation, and other contractual and business tort litigation. I formerly chaired the firm's Real Estate practice group, and continue to oversee and handle real estate litigation, commercial foreclosure and workouts, and lender liability litigation. I also presently serve as the Porzio firm's General Counsel.I have successfully litigated matters before federal and state courts (both trial and appellate), arbitration panels, and administrative tribunals. I also serve as a mediator and arbitrator in corporate/commercial, employment and probate litigation matters, and am listed on the roster of Mediators for New Jersey's Statewide Mediation Program for Civil, General Equity and Probate cases.I have been recognized in "The Best Lawyers in America" in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Employment Litigation, and Real Estate Litigation, and have received an AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell - its highest rating.
