Michael Lu, MBA/HCM, ALM, FACHE is the President & Chief Operating Officer for Cellarian Inc, a healthcare automation and software (SaaS) provider. He is also an active management consultant & operations specialist through Full Spectrum Healthcare Management Services and serves as a Fractional COO and/or CFO for many of its clients - including Integral CP Solutions, Quantum RCM, Sugar Land Surgical Institute, River Oaks Imaging, Advanced Genomics Lab and others. He is committed to the operational application of transformative medical innovation that addresses the challenges and unmet needs of society. He specializes in optimizing healthcare revenue, service line acquisitions, mergers and private company exits.Mr. Lu is an alumni of the University of St. Mary (KS), where he was an NAIA Academic All-American tennis player and graduated with Honors. Mr. Lu has over twenty-seven years of operations & management experience, with 25 years in Healthcare. He has published on recombinant genetics, revenue cycle management, healthcare automation, epidemiology, indigent care and clinical trials. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force Reserves, Mr. Lu served with Medical Command in healthcare logistics and deployment. Mr. Lu has Bachelors degrees in Recombinant Genetics & Theology and an MBA in Healthcare Management. Mr. Lu received his certification in Non-Profit Board management from Harvard Business School, and a Graduate degree in Strategic Management from Harvard University. He holds additional certifications in Privacy, Compliance, Healthcare Finance, Analytics, AI for Healthcare and Value Based Care. His professional memberships include MGMA, the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and is a Fellow of the from the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). He often lectures for universities, at professional societies and as a visiting professor.Mr. Lu sits on the Board of Trustees for the Stoller Foundation. He is active with the Texas 4000 for Cancer, National MS Society, The College Board, Brazosport College, The University of Saint Mary, Second Baptist School University Model School and Tallowood Baptist Church, where he serves as a Deacon, teaches Sunday School and sings in the choir. Mr. Lu has been a competitive amateur cyclist since his childhood and also enjoys marathons, duathlons, drum corps and opera. Mr. Lu lives in Houston, Tx with his wife, Hannah, and their children - Isaac & Lydia.
