Responsible for the overall procurement activities, vendor relationship management, management and monitoring of inventory, coordinating receiving and shipment of goods, logistic activies (local and international) and managing the warehouse, including overseeing a small warehouse team.

The main responsibilities of this role are to procure and manage critical spares and chemicals to ensure Osmoflo plants continue to operate, as well as liaise with project engineers and production managers to ensure parts are procured and delivered with specific time-frames to meet production and project schedules. Due to changes within Osmoflo and I have also been given the additional responsibility of solely managing the warehouse and stores.

I was offered and accepted a fly in/fly out position on Ensign Oil Rig 931 as a Materials Coordinator and purchasing officer on site. As materials coordinator I was responsible for maintaining inventory control to a min/max system, store maintenance, stock takes, weekly cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy and coordinating with trades people to ensure correct parts are ordered, and that there are sufficient critical spares on site at all times for upcoming maintenance jobs or for any urgent equipment breakdowns that may occur.
