Reviewed IT equipment/software requests in local health department grants to ensure alignment with the federal guidelines. Trained department personnel, include director's office, on use of satellite phones. Made presentations to local health departments regarding IT guidelines as part of technical assistance sessions. Maintained the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) for EPO. Participated in regular drills and exercises, as required by federal grants. Served as Acting Chief of the Emergency Communications Unit for 6 months.

Provided technical support to 58 county health departments, 3 city health departments, 77 non-profit organizations for the Online Tobacco Information System (OTIS). Designed user database in Microsoft Access with the following features: Importation of online form data; account assignments, merge-emailing capability, importation of web log data, and calculation of quarterly web site use grades for each user. System Administrator for OTIS Versions 1.0 and 2.0, which involved adding/deleting users, setting permissions, writing FAQ’s, managing the online help desk, and setting up procurements. Performed remote Unix server administration duties for PARTNERS Web site.
