Co-Founder / Chief Technology OfficerAccodex Partners Nov 2015 - Dec 2017In November 2015 I made the decision to merge Clear Business Dynamics with Accodex. Our team had often worked closely with the team at Accodex , to assist our clients with the accounting aspects of technology implementations. The key focus was to combine our services and bring a unified technology and accounting offering to the market. The two teams combined to continue the development of Accodex, which had recently launched off the back of another merger between National Accounts and Cirillo Hooper & Company. With all three companies combined we embarked on an aggressive development roadmap at the start of 2016. On the face of it Accodex is a high tech, accounting and technology consulting services firm. Our focus is on delivering business transformation and improvement initiatives to small and medium sized businesses. Our goal is to democratise business intelligence, aligning people, process and technology to build sustainable data driven companies. To achieve this outcome Accodex is developing a platform for freelance professionals. Building a complete solution that provides them with the technology and services they require to leave their jobs in traditional practice and set themselves up to provide outstanding service to their own portfolio of business clients. I resigned from Accodex in December 2017, to spend more time with family and pursue new ventures and technical specialisations. FounderClear Business Dynamics Jul 2012 - Nov 2015Having seen what I had achieved with cloud software in my own businesses I decided to launch Clear Business Dynamics In 2012, to help other small businesses. The focus was to build a modern technology consulting company that worked to overhaul the systems and and processes within businesses, to leverage the power from the emerging wave of cloud technology and software. Initially focusing on the Real Estate Industry, the core service was the implementation of cloud software systems such as Xero, Agentbox and Google Apps. In the first 2 years of operation I was fortunate to work with companies such as Harris Real Estate, Ouwens Casserly, Brock Williams and TEK Builders. The company continued to grow consistently as the range of cloud technologies increased and improved, allowing us to develop solutions for the retail, hospitality and professional services industries. As the team grew we moved from our beloved home at Hub Adelaide, into our own dedicated office within the Epworth Building in Pirie Street. We renovated the space to show case our interpretation of the Office of the Future, a paperless tribute to technological efficiency and our interpretation of the future of work. Clear Business Dynamics mergered with our friends at Accodex in Novemeber 2015. -
FounderGym On Brebner Sep 2011 - Sep 2013In 2011 I saw an opportunity to establish the Gym on Brebner in an empty tenancy at the base of the Infinity Apartments where I lived. I had experienced a lack of quality gyms in the area, and felt that there was demand from the residents of the apartment and the neighbouring suburbs. The gym's fit-out included top end equipment and a range of automation features to allow for extend hours of operation. It was designed to offer a discreet and personal training experience to a limited number of 180 members. I was able to build the gym to the capacity level, and systemise the operations to a point where it took 15 hours per week to operate. Gym on Brebner was sold in 2013 to a dedicated personal trainer who took the business to the next level. Gym on Brebner has since expanded to another site and continues successful operations today.

FounderDeluxe Detailing Solutions Aug 2005 - Sep 2008I started Deluxe Detailing Solutions whilst studying a Bachelor of Business at the University of South Australia. Initially the business was a way for me to generate income whilst studying, starting with letter box drops, a sponge and a bucket. After 6 months the business began to evolve through word of mouth and basic advertising in the Yellow Pages. I remember spending my days driving from house to house, unpacking my cleaning equipment and doing my best to make every car sparkle. In 2006 I was accepted into Business SA's, South Australian Young Entrepreneurs Scheme (SAYES). I took this as an opportunity to put my University studies on hold and commit to the business, increasing my skills as an entrepreneur and business owner. In 2007 Deluxe Detailing Solutions employed it's first staff member. The business went on to employ 3 full time staff over the next 2 years, as well as a casual employees to assist in the busy summer months. Through our commitment to quality, Deluxe Detailing Solutions found it's niche in routine "visual maintenance programs" for luxury cars and boats. Deluxe Detailing Solutions was the first company to establish a full "Monaco style" yacht concierge service, offering clients a range of services to maintain and prepare their boats for day cruises, from fuelling and boat preparation, to catering and captain services.A commercial division of the company was established, offering car detailing and pre-delivery preparation services for car dealerships including City Holden and Porsche Centre Adelaide. The commercial division also lead to the development of our pure water cleaning technology. Adapting a system used for window cleaning, I built a trailer mounted system which filtered tap water from 360 PPM to 0 PPM, storing it in large tanks for use during the day. The technology meant that a car could be cleaned in 10 minutes without the use of chemicals whilst using just 3 litres of water.
