For me, everything I've done has been about making a meaningful impact. I need to look back and see that I contributed to real change, that my presence helped make a difference. While my early career was focused on technical skills, my true passion now lies in working with people. Solving problems on my own is satisfying, but leading a team to develop a better solution together is incredible. It's fulfilling to offer guidance, but seeing a group learn to solve challenges independently with just occasional support is even more rewarding. I enjoy teaching, but the real joy comes from watching that moment of understanding spread across the room. This people-focused approach is why the Agile movement resonates so strongly with me. Agile’s core principles align perfectly with the way I approach work. I naturally gravitate toward coaching and mentoring, identifying learning opportunities to spark discussions and drive improvements.I’m always seeking causes to champion and inspiring others to join the journey. That’s why I’ve invested a lot of energy into the Agile community in Chicago. I’m a founding board member of the Agile Professional Learning Network of Chicago (aplnchicago.org), an Agile meetup group focused on shaping the future of Agile in the city over the next decade. I am a frequent blogger, and co-host of the weekly agile podcast [ here's this agile thing ].Specialties: Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Registered Scrum@Scale Practitioner (RSASP)Agile Evangelist, Coach & TrainerAgent for Change

Agile Coach & Trainer, Consultant, Owner42 North Unlimited Llc Jul 2021 - PresentAs an agile consultant and coach, I evaluate the key components of your organization, identifying how they align to either support or hinder your goals. I can pinpoint the challenges that have become ingrained over time but are often overlooked. I work closely with delivery teams at a tactical level to optimize collaboration and improve the efficiency of value delivery. At the strategic level, I partner with leadership to clarify vision, structure roadmaps, and establish measurable pathways to success. I bridge the gap between technology and business, helping both sides overcome communication barriers that can impede progress.
