• Solely managed large-scale (3.5MW-10MW, $20M - $40M) solar construction projects. 4 in total in South West Ontario.• Assisted in the management in 16 other site throughout Central and Eastern Ontario.• Consulted on projects world-wide as the subject matter expert for RE with respect to High Voltage.• Promoting Safety during all stages of a project's life cycle.• Manage all phases of construction project management including but not limited to budget and schedule development and adherence, general contractor supervision, and coordination.• Perform all aspects of construction administration and documentation including negotiating contracts and change orders, purchase order management, conflict resolution, invoice review, high level of Quality expectations, and project closeout documentation.• Responsible for project budgets of approximately $40MM per project.

• Accountable for the management of the Department’s technical staff and their Health & Safety, Training, and day to day activities within a Union environment. • Supervised Capital Construction & Maintenance Projects, Substation Management, SCADA, Standards, Mapping, Power Quality, Locates, non-destructive pole testing & Technical Layouts. • Supervised the routine maintenance as well as the refurbishment of existing Substations and design of new facilities, as always with an eye towards the priority of Health and Safety. • Technical Utility Lead for implementation of a new municipally owned Transformer Station. • Technical Utility Lead for Generation projects (which would come to be known as FIT &MicroFIT).• Technical Utility Lead for innovative load shedding & switching (which was the Smart Grid in its infancy).• Performed the function of Engineering Supervisor as required for 2 affiliate companies, South Western Energy & Halton Hills Fibre Optics.

• Created, updated and distributed newly implemented Automated Mapping / Facilities Management system. This included both Operation and Distribution maps on hard copy and electronic format (CableCad) which increased productivity by 100% and reduced outage restoration times. • Created, maintained, and supervised the annual non-destructive pole-testing program. • Subject matter expert for computer related and technical assistance, including the upgrading, and maintenance of the hardware & software of approximately 20+ P.C.s.
