I am also the in-house patent attorney at WU responsible for managing all outside patent counsel and all IP strategy, preparation, prosecution, litigation, and licensing for a completely heterogeneous research and technology base. All industry sponsored research arrangements are in my responsibility as well and I personally negotiate and handle all high value and master agreements for the University.

As the first patent lawyer in the firm's St. Louis office, I was recruited to start and help build a patent group, which we were able to do in a very short time and with great success.
