- Joined the project tech team responsible for the migration of the Human Resources applications from the on-premise data centres to Microsoft Azure. This was one work stream in a programme of over 1000 application in scope for migration to enable GSK to shutdown the majority of on-premise infrastructure.- Responsibility for the authoring and co-ordination of the documentation produced throughout the lifecycle of the project. Ensuring the documentation adhered to GSK standard operating procedures and met with quality, risk and compliance standards which would stand up to an external audit.- Reporting to the project manager, taking responsibility for the presentation of progress updates to key stakeholders throughout the project.- Authoring cutover plans, co-ordinating the cutover activities and reporting progress to the project manager senior stakeholder on the programme board. - Maintaining project Risk register and reporting of progress at weekly programme meetings - Leading and co-ordination of application security scanning (WAST) to ensure application are migrated without vulnerabilities or a remediation plan in place adhering to GSK policy.- Working across multiple time zones to co-ordinate the activities of the team, who were based in India, Poland and UK.

Responsibility for the LMS (SAP SuccessFactors) and 13 custom developed applications.- Responsibility for co-ordinating the project team to produce the cutover plans. Attending regular meetings throughout the cutover period with the programme cutover team to track progress, highlight issues and dependencies on other teams, and ensure the project team met their deadlines.- Reporting to the project manager, taking responsibility for the presentation of progress updates to key stakeholders throughout the project.- Responsibility for the authoring and co-ordination of the documentation produced throughout the lifecycle of the project. Ensuring the documentation adhered to GSK standard operating procedures and met with quality, risk and compliance standards which would stand up to an external audit. - Communicating the cutover plans to 3rd Parties and ensuring they delivered their activities as planned- Working across multiple time zones to co-ordinate the activities of the team, who were based in India, Poland, UK and USAKey Achievements include:- Successful delivery of the applications to the newly formed company, Haleon.- Co-ordination and replanning of project activities and documentation in response to a major incident, 7 days before the planned go-live, working with the project team to minimise the impact and only delaying the planned go-live by 5 days.- Authoring, reviewing and co-ordination of approvals for over 200 documents covering the technical specifications, data migration and testing for each of the applications. - Engaging with the project team, quality, risk and compliance team, the application owners and other senior stakeholders to ensure documentation deadlines were met and adhered to GSK standards for validated computer systems.

I was hired into a senior IT leadership role to provide IT services to the business, working closely with Managing Director and heads of department to ensure IT systems are performing and are fit for purpose. Key achievements include:- Enabled acceleration of digital transformation strategy in response to COVID while ensuring smooth transition to home working, fully migrating the IT team in less than 3 months to enable the business to move to a permanent work from home model while savings 25% in lease/contract costs. - Led GDPR team responsible for introducing policy and procedure to ensure Systech were compliant with the GDPR regulation. This included gaining Cyber Essentials accreditation.- Proposed and implemented changes to Systech’s security policies and procedure including the rollout of end point and password management tools.- Led app development for a mobile app used internally and for sale to clients.- Proposed and implemented changes to Systech’s backup and DR systems and processes to improve recovery objectives and reduce business risk.- Proposed, planned and deployed Office 365 email system to reduce costs and increase reliability.- Proposed, planned and deployed virtualised server farm and SAN to increase reliability and improve disaster recovery.- Proposed, planned and deployed MPLS for Systech’s UK offices and WAN connectivity for branch offices outside of the UK.- Proposed, planned and deployed VOIP telephony system which has been rolled out to all our UK offices.

Spent 1 year supporting and developing a Ringtone Kiosk for Nokia in 4 countries in Asia.Spent 1 year installing and supporting 2 Museum's AV infrastructure. Asian Civilisations Museum in Singapore and an exhibition at the Cite de Science in Paris.Spent my last year working with the Singapore American School installing a Video on Demand soultion, my main role was managing the hardware, programming the AMX control system and tuning the RF network.
