Lead Systems Engineer in charge of the Flight Controls "Integrated Flight Systems" team for all Gulfstream platforms. Responsible for overseeing and mentoring a team of engineers within the flight controls group across Gulfstream programs. Main duties: -Working directly with customer to define avionics technology-Owner of flight controls avionics features (ideation through requirement definition and implementation to certification)-System requirements definition, validation, implementation and verification (DO-178B/ARP-4754A)-System integration and testing -Managing multiple software product teams to ensure required technology is implemented properly and integrated at a systems level. -Responsible for flight testing avionics software in nominal and malfunction conditions (over 200+ hrs of flight test experience)Multiple patent awards for product creations.

• Lead focal for Flight Director and Autothrottle function groups for the Gulfstream programs. • Conducted flight tests at customer facilities for the Gulfstream G650 and Dassault F7X programs to support software deliveries.• Implemented new functionality in flight director, autothrottle, and autopilot software on various aircrafts.• Wrote new software requirements and performed verification tests for validation of software changes. • Created and performed verification tests and reviews required for certification by the FAA and EASA.• Diagnosed issues with the autoflight software from technical events that occurred during flight tests.• Implemented changes to Simulink models to resolve issues and implement new features to the autoflight software.• Loaded software onto full flight simulators and conducted simulated flight tests. • Analyzed experimental data from full flight tests as well as simulated flight tests to create data packets.• Wrote and edited software requirements after additions and changes were made to the Simulink codes.

Performed research on specialty materials based off of the material Kevlar, which was used to create a finite element modeling program that would simulate a 'fan blade out' event on an aircraft.
