Agua Fria High School is a Title I school in Avondale, Arizona. Agua Fria has recently become rated as an A school and is one of the few Title I schools in the state to have achieved this status. At Agua Fria, I taught Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II and consistently posted some of the top exam averages in the district. In addition to teaching, I served as a case manager for over twenty special education students. In this role, I was in charge of managing my students' Individualized Education Plans and ensuring that they are given access to a fair education as mandated by federal and state law.

Accepted a two year commitment to teach Math in an underprivileged Title I school in Phoenix, Arizona. Teach For America recruits recent college graduates and professionals to teach for two years in urban and rural communities throughout the United States. The goal of Teach For America is for its corps members to make both a short-term and long-term impact by leading their students to reach their full potential and becoming lifelong leaders for educational equity. Worked as a member of the Institutional Clients Group team at Citi. The ICG works to provide strategic, financial, and operational insights and execute tailored product/service solutions, both domestically and abroad.Over the summer, I worked with a team that managed the accounts of Citi's largest global trade clients. While in my role I designed a universal Microsoft Excel template that allows client managers easy access to client information to improve service quality and speed. This template was added to the account managers operating procedures prior to the end of my internship.Additionally I was exposed to the nuances of international trade and the uses of different types of letters of credit.
