After 44 years in the insurance industry, I have recently retired and started a new position with Sigma Tau Gamm Fraternity. I am the Director of Brotherhood Giving and will be responsible for the fundraising efforts for our Foundation.My first job after graduating from Illinois State University was to work for the Fraternity. I spent four years working as a Chapter Consultant, before moving to Greensboro in 1980 to enter the insurance career. Since then, I have served in several volunteer positions with Sigma Tau Gamma. I have served on the Board of Directors for 6 years. I have also served as a Chapter Advisor for 6 years with the Chapter at UNC Charlotte. With the beginning of the new position, I will complete 7 years as a Trustee on the Sigma Tau Gamma Foundation.I am looking forward to encouraging fellow alumni to support our undergraduates, who are the next generation of Noble Men of Sigma Tau Gamma. Without alumni support for the leadership programs, scholarships, and mentoring opportunities, we would not be able to provide the support needed. We have many outstanding young men that have elected to become part of our Fraternity and are worthy of our support.I have been honored recently, by the Fraternity, having been selected as a member of the Society of The Seventeen.
