Bloomstar is the largest importer of flowers in Canada. Bloomstar serves the supermarket chains across Canada including Costco, Loblaws, Sobey's and Safeway by providing fresh cut flowers and plants direct from the farms. The company has been in business since 2001, has over 500 staff, and specializes in nation-wide cold chain logistics, importing most of its products from South America. During Michael's tenure, he transformed the family run business with fragmented systems and no national infrastructure into a true national business with operations in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, and Montreal. The business was sold to a flower farm in Colombia strategically seeking vertical integration in April 2016. Michael oversaw the transition and the growth that came with the expansion reaching $100MM and over 500 staff.

The residence is specifically designed for active seniors over 55 years of age who value their freedom but need someone else to cook, clean, and monitor their safety. Michael started leading the company as Arctic Power Systems from a family who was seeking to professionalize their company. After organizing the sale of the company to a private equity group looking to expand their footprint in the industrial services sector, Michael continued to lead the company with a specific role on growth, building the team, and to build the business systems to power growth. Arctic was rebuilt from the ground up and is now a progressive, growing, and vibrant powerline contractor with several offices across Western Canada.

Teldon has been in operation for over 40 years and Michael McAdam led the organisation for over 10 years—a period of intense growth and significant change. During his tenure, Michael paved the way for Teldon Media Group to more than double its revenue. He has also overseen a successful push to expand the company’s international operations within the United States and Australia, as well as a focus on a new and upgraded Canadian Head Office. Michael drove the strategic platform of Teldon Media Group to reflect the digital and personalization era that the print industry is now in. Within its print manufacturing division, Teldon provided the highest possible quality print materials created on the newest equipment to produce stunning, award-winning products. In 2010, Teldon received more than 100 awards of distinction from the Print industry for its innovative and creative products and designs.
