Working onsite with 3 different Optik TV projects to introduce agile processes and coach existing staff during the transition.

Introducing a cross-functional software team to agile processes while managing a critical project to restructure the corporate CMS framework. When the team decided to abandon PHP after the project had already started, I taught the dev team Ruby on Rails from scratch. Using Agile and Rails, the project was delivered on time with more features than originally expected.

Working with a small start-up to help them deliver software to their clients. Responsible for hiring developers, implementing software development processes that work, mentoring and coaching developers in pragmatic software development practices, building web applications with ASP.Net MVC and delivering iPhone and Windows Mobile applications.

Agile Edmonton is a User Group run by volunteers with the goal of helping Edmonton become more Agile. During the summer of 2008, the group was down to a few posts per month on a discussion board and had no regular meetings. I started hosting small informal meetings and then, based on some connections that I was able to make at the Agile 2008 conference, started hosting regular meetings. Together, we have built a strong group and extended our reach by building a group website along with creating LinkedIn and Facebook groups.
