December 2015 through December 2017, I was engaged with Compri Consulting supporting the State of Colorado Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) with the statewide COMMIT project – implementation of a new MMIS and Business Intelligence program. I am the technical Project Manager focused on the BIDM (Business Intelligence and Data Management) implementation by Truven Health Analytics, now IBM Watson. You cannot have much more fun than this. Software licensing involved a new business start-up (United Launch Alliance - jointly owned by Lockheed Martin and Boeing). I performed analysis of the user community, software license requirements, license terms, license transfer opportunities, license procurements and support and maintenance contracts. I worked as part of a team with a close association with procurement and legal intellectual property departments.
