Dr McNeel is one of the Senior plastic surgeons at Marietta Plastic Surgery. He joined the practice in Marietta GA in 1997. He has patients see him from Metro Atlanta as well as from as far away as Europe.When Dr McNeel joined MPS he brought the idea of using Botox and Collagen type fillers to a plastic surgery practice that was focused on surgical correction of aging. His early interest in non surgical and surgical options for facial aging have helped Dr McNeel become one of the better known plastic surgeons in Atlanta.He has been a trainer to other physicians for brands such as Botox, Juvederm, Voluma and Latisse since 2003.Dr McNeel has also has an interest in breast aesthetics and breast surgery. He hsd had many opportunities to travel to Europe and across the U.S. to workwith peers and other thought leaders in this area of interest. Thus he was one of the first to use new shaped silicone implants in Georgia in 2013 and continues to explore ways of helping to achieve natural results in breast augmentation.His drive for improving the patient experience and results lead Dr McNeel to begin offering a drainless tummy tuck in 2009. This is an innovation which advances the traditional method of doing tummy tucks but has lead to improved results for his patients.Dr McNeel offers consultations and follow up visits at both Marietta Plastic Surgery locations in Marietta and Woodstock Georgia.

Dr. McNeel is a senior partner at Marietta Plastic Surgery. He has been providing cosmetic surgery to the metro Atlanta Georgia and Southeastern region since completing his plastic surgical education at Emory University in 1997.He specializes in elective cosmetic surgery to the breast, body and face.Dr. McNeel has been a leader in non-surgical aesthetic treatments to the face as well. He is a National trainer for injectable products such as Botox, Juviderm and Voluma. He combines his extensive training in surgery with his interest in injectable solutions to help his clients achieve natural results that complement their appearance and allow them to appear as good as they feel.Dr McNeel has also been an early adopter of new techniques and types of breast implants. He has traveled the U.S. as well as to Europe to study with masters in plastic surgery. This has allowed him to offer advancements to his breast aesthetic patients to provide them with a natural result that should be long lasting.Dr McNeel learned from Brazilian plastic surgeons a technique which allows him to perform abdominoplasties without the use of drain tubes. Dr. McNeel was selected to join a small group and become an Emory Trained Plastic Surgeon. During his time at Emory, the plastic surgery training program was recognized as one of if not the most desired training program in the country. This was due to the combination of world renown plastic surgeons on the teaching faculty, the independence given the Plastic Surgery Residents and Fellows and the large population of the Atlanta region and complexity of conditions that were referred to Emory from other areas in the South.It was during this time that Dr McNeel was able to take the knowledge he had gained from his rigorous 5 years of general surgery training and layer the new techniques and ideas of plastic surgery to gain the ability to transformpeoples lives for the better. Working under the Giants of plastic surgery such as Dr. John Bostwick, Foad Nahai, Grant Carlson and others, he was able to craft his skills and fine tune the boundaries if plastic surgery.

After completing medical school at the University of Miami School of Medicine, Dr. McNeel was offered a select position at Emory as one of five General Surgery Residents who would complete a five year program in which they rotate through all the surgical disciplines like cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, and general surgery. In his last year of general surgery training he was a Chief Resident in General Surgery and was in charge of a team of physicians and medical students who cared for patients at several hospitals in the metro Atlanta area such at Emory Hospital, Crawford Long Hospital ( now Emory Midtown), the Veterans Hospital and Grady Memorial Hospital. He served as the Chief Resident in many disciplines such as General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Gastrointestinal surgery, and Trauma surgery.All these years of surgical training helped Dr. McNeel develop essential skills that he uses every day as a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. These skills help him evaluate who is a good candidate for surgery, gave him the vast knowledge of the anatomy of the body as well as an ability to understand what can and should be done safely during surgery to allow for appropriate healing a a desired result.
