I love what I do. Every day I have the opportunity to speak to or work with people who are hungry to adapt, change and stay relevant.Although I often get the 'futurist'​ label at conferences and in the media, I like to think of myself as more of an organizational strategist. Whether it's a Fortune 500 Company or a small family-owned business, there is no greater thrill than seeing the empowering moment of realisation when a client or audience member can see a path forward that they hadn't recognised before. To play a small part in making that moment happen is a privilege I don't take lightly.A great deal of my time is spent travelling and presenting at conferences, however I do love the research and book-writing process. My latest book is called "The Case for Character" and it examines the latest consumer trends data and highlights why transparency, trust and clarity of purpose are increasingly essential for any business or institution. Arising from the experience of losing my father suddenly at a young age, a personal passion of mine has been to encourage parents to record their stories and memories for their kids before it was too late.Histography.com is a result of a 4-year project to develop a digital memoir-writing tool to make telling your story easy and fun. It is designed to be given as a gift to a parent or someone you love and guides recipient through a 12-month process of recording their stories in response to weekly email prompts. At the end of the 12-months, a memoir is automatically printed in hard cover and mailed to the recipient.I love hearing the stories already flooding in from people who have used and are using Histography.com to make sure their story gets shared with those they love the most.

It is my honour to be the inaugural national president for Professional Speakers Australia (PSA).Formerly known as the National Speakers Association, PSA is the peak body for speakers, trainers and topic experts who inform inspire and influence. My personal mission is to help re-invigorate the association after a challenging few years. This was my first job out of university and was a fascinating insight into the fast-moving world of software. Every day I was crafting IT solutions for real estate agents who were, at the time, largely resistant to technology. It was a great insight into the psychology of change and a lot of fun.
