Objective is to leverage stakeholder influencing and goal alignment skills to empower business to demonstrate sustainability leadership in a way that challenges the status quo while creating shared value to link Corporate Social Responsibility with Competitive Advantage. Prior to joining the NSW Office of Energy & Climate Change, I worked with Nespresso my key focus to ensure all Nespresso customers have access to a recycling solution regardless of where they live. This focus has led to the development of a dedicated Nespresso recycling program that is easy and simple to participate in. Prior to joining Nespresso my area of focus was Sustainability & External Affairs Associate with seven years’ experience both as a regulator and in-house practitioner ensuring compliance with legislation across pollution, sanitation, and waste issues. In this area I aligned operational practicalities with regulatory obligations and improve relationships with regulators including the EPA, external community stakeholders and cross-functional staff within the water, extractives, infrastructure, and manufacturing industries. I have spoken to an audience of 300+ at the Australasian Environmental Law Enforcement and Regulators Network conference promoting the importance of investigating breaches of environmental protection laws. I also delivered environmental incident response training to 400+ water industry staff and prepare case studies for environmental compliance officer training courses delivered by the EPA.
