The position with BoA/ML is Benefits Online project the Advice Access area serving as a Scrum Master for 2 Development teams. In this capacity my duties included conduct of the four primary Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standup, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective) and coaching my own teams and other teams as needed. Initial assignment was with one new team. The assignment grew four weeks later to include a second much more Agile experienced team. Role with the second team was primarily as a coach with minimal scrum master duties. Role with the first team was to guide them in initial formation stages and to assist with setup and transition from Waterfall to Agile.

The position with Chase is in the Auto Finance IT area Serving as a Scrum Master for 3 Development teams. In this capacity my Duties included conduct of the four primary Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standup, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective) and coaching my own teams and other teams as needed. Initial assignment was with one team which almost immediately grew to three with two additional teams in initial formation stages to assist with setup and transition from Waterfall to Agile.

The position at Johnson and Johnson was a senior Scrum Master/Coach leading three teams in the delivery of services to internal clients of J&J’s corporation wide data warehouse for FDA managed products and services. Second assignment was with the Field Inventory Management project establishing a new set of Field Support Locations to supply surgery kits to hospitals within the region of operation.Each team consisted of Developers, QA Analysts and documentation specialists. Both teams were relatively new to Scrum and required coaching to keep them in the agile mode of operation. I was responsible for the standard scrum ceremonies (Daily stand up, sprint planning, Sprint Review and Sprint retrospective. I managed the grooming sessions for the Product owners and used excel based analytical tools (based on JIRA Data extracts) to provide management insight into the functioning of the teams on a daily basis.

The position at United Health Group was in the Optum division working as a senior Scrum Master within the SAFE model. Duties included conduct of the four primary Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standup, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective) and coaching my own teams and other teams as needed. I also assisted the Product owner in the conduct of the grooming sessions and facilitated other meetings as necessary. I developed and conducted Agile and Scrum training for the team I was serving because the team members were new to Agile and Scrum. This material supplemented the materials used by UHG as part of their intake process.

Position at Barclays was as the Product Owner for the five Business API development teams located in Wilmington and Pune India. I was responsible for the development and maintenance of the Product Backlog. Initially this was done via excel Spreadsheets but transitioned to Rally. I conducted Pre-grooming and grooming session for the user stories being submitted for inclusion in the Product Backlog. Conducted the weekly Scrum of Scrums session with all teams represented by the Scrum Master of each team. These sessions covered the status of each team and the impediments they had. Reviewed and accepted the User Stories completed on by the various teams. The review was based on the Acceptance Criteria associated with each User Story.

Position at Teachers Retirement System (TRS) was an Agile Scrum Coach with secondary duty as Scrum Master for two new scrum teams. As the Scrum Coach for an organization just starting to work in the agile world I was called upon to do multiple tasks and assume multiple roles within the organization in order to proper implement Agile and Scrum and to keep it moving forward to successful adoption.
