Encore Fantasy Games is changing the way fantasy sports are experienced and opening up fantasy sports to new audiences. As the vice president of research and development and a co-founder, I am working to help Encore build out a suite of games and build our user base as we seek to become the next big thing in the fantasy sports arena.

Functioned as the COO of a small nonprofit that operates a summer collegiate baseball team in the Cal Ripken Sr. Collegiate Baseball League. Served as the point-of-contact for players, serving as the off-field coordinator and helping to ensure players are properly registered for league play via the monitoring of biographical and personal health information. Day-to-day coordinator for game night execution, including managing a team of 18 college interns to help support game night operations as well as sports journalism operations including social media/graphic design, photography, sports writing, and broadcasting, also serving a critical role in their personal and professional development. Summarized in-season operations including pre- and post-season budget analysis and presents findings to the organization’s board of directors for future planning. Managed organization’s fundraising drive, including two fundraising auctions, and increased fundraising totals 20% YoY. Managed and administers organization’s summer baseball camp, including marketing, and assists with day-to-day operations, increased gross sales 14% YoY to new record high

Led multiple teams advising clients on strategic communications, both corporate and digital, messaging, thought leadership, issue management, and public policy issues. This included leading detailed research and analysis projects to help clients across a range of verticals, including financial services, manufacturing, energy and the environment, healthcare, and technology.

Monitored legislative issues surrounding financial services; monitored rulemakings from bank regulators such as the Fed, FDIC, OCC, SEC, CFTC and CFPB; followed the actions of the Fed and analyzed their effects on the financial services industry; maintained a database of all of the CFPB's actions since its inception; monitored US elections and their impact on the financial services industry.

Utilized MLB software to catalogue all events occurring during assigned MLB games. Transcribed interviews for written dissemination.

Completed various tasks including updating the Senator's e-mail database, research, constituent letter writing and proofreading, attended hearings and wrote summaries for other staff members, answered phones and ran various errands throughout the Capitol complex.

Interned in the research department at KBW and updated analyst spreadsheets, assisted KBW’s Washington liaison in various projects, edited various entries into KBW’s company-wide database, updated the company on the day’s trading volumes and results.
