Utilized Bigcommerce software to develop and implement front-end for online store based on specific client guidelines. Modified and added large portions of HTML, CSS, & Javascript as necessary to develop site functionality, while maintaining the client’s desired aesthetic and feel. • Modified and implemented a mobile version of the site (for use on phones) while developing subtle responsive elements to increase usability on tablets without destroying the desktop experience. • Identified, organized, and managed 178 items to be sold throughout the site, adjusting to price changes and accounting for variable shipping costs and taxes. • Provided ongoing technical support for clients, identifying and resolving problems quickly and independently.

Chicago, Illinois

Prepared and executed the lighting design for every production produced. Required careful consideration of the season as a whole, actively diverting resources where required without harming smaller works. Collaborated with Artistic and Managing Directors to develop and implement long term plans for the advancement of the artistic infrastructure. • Reduced lighting budget for each production by pre-planning ways to reuse materials throughout the season. Within 12 months, this allowed for replacing and expanding the theater’s dimming system. • Spearheaded purchase & installation of a new lighting console to meet the expanding needs of the space. • Remounted 3 productions from Theo’s small 60 seat theater to spaces as large as 400 seats, preserving the vision of each through close collaboration and zealous adherence to the core artistic concept.

Prepared and executed lighting designs, plots, and paperwork for multiple theaters simultaneously throughout the country, mostly in the city of Chicago. Interpreted, developed, and anticipated the needs of each production in order to best realize the work within the limits of the stipulated budget. Collaborated closely with the director, as well as the set, costume, and sound designers, to integrate all produced elements into a cohesive whole. • Managed as many as 7 simultaneous productions in 5 different theaters by carefully planning and executing a daily schedule months in advance, organizing work crews, and adapting to problems as they arose. • Creatively repurposed sparse resources in order to fulfill even the most ambitious expectations, often working within budgets as small as $100. • Designed over 30 shows at 9 different theaters, including The Royal George Theatre, Fox Valley Repertory, and Chicago’s Theatre on the Lake.

Worked with students to ensure they learn and understand how to produce professional theater. Organized student crews to run the lighting console, spot lights, special effects, and any other needs during the course of the show. • Responsible for producing design, purchasing required materials, and supervising student technicians. • Worked with outside electrical firm to develop a plan for the wide scale expansion of the lighting system. • Designed 4 shows in 2 theaters in only 6 weeks, providing opportunity for a group of over 200 students as a part of the BRAVO! Performing Arts Summer Academy.

Norfolk, Virginia

Responsible for making daily checks with each department in order to foster communication and anticipate any possible conflicts. Produced all plots and paperwork on behalf of the Resident Lighting Designer for every production throughout the season. Kept in close contact with the Electrics department to ensure the lighting design is properly executed. • Served as Lighting Designer for the annual fundraising gala at the end of the season. • Returned to oversee design on A Christmas Carol in the original Lighting Designer’s absence.
