Main areas of focus have been professional development, active learning, digital skills, continuous improvement (Lean), business operations and organisational development: designing and delivering activities, sessions and programmes for training, teaching, coaching and mentoring. Provide 1:1 coaching, mentoring and coaching supervision for managers and staff, including facilitating action learning sets. Led a number of strategic level projects for LJMU, aligned to its Strategic Plan; including OD projects to affect institutional change and enhance culture, such as the Apprenticeship Levy Strategy and PSS Digital Capabilities Framework. Programme Leader for LJMU's unique AUA Accreditation Programme, based on the AUA CPD Framework using a peer-learning formative assessment model; awarded AUA Member of the Year 2017 for developing this innovative CPD programme. Awarded AUA Member of the Year 2019 for creating engaging AUA development resources that were launched nationally, developing AUA initiatives such as LJMU AUA CPD Awards and AUA CIVICs (Cross-Institutional Virtual Interactive Collaborations), and sharing best practice with numerous other HEIs to support enhancing their AUA strategy.
