My last position at WABC-TV was in a dual role as The Director of Business Development and Emerging Media. In this position I was charged with the Marketing, Content integration and Advertising Sales for one of the most prominent and buzz-worthy Digital Place Based Media platforms to date, "Taxi TV" which was the partnership of ABC and Verifone for the Digital Taxi Screens in New York City. The platform launched in July of 2007 and I generated $2,000,000 in new advertising revenue from July-Dec 2007. In 2008 prior to leaving WABC-TV the platform was ramped up to full capacity and is now widely recognized as one of the most measurable and sought after Digital Place Based media solutions. Concurrently, I ran the business development group for the Broadcast Television side of WABC-TV, concentrating efforts on bringing new accounts to the local TV marketplace and WABC's website www.7online.com.Sales and Marketing Account ExecutivePrior to the Director's role at WABC I was dedicated to Marketing and Business development on the Local station level, while also funneling dollars and across the Disney ABC Owned & Operated Station Group in the form of Television and Online revenue. In my 5 years in Business Development at WABC-TV I generated over $16,000,000 dollars for WABC TV and an additional $10,000,000 for the Owned and Operated Station group. I booked the first group Local Web deal in 2002 and also received the first "Pre Roll" video order in 2002 for O&O Station's websites.
