I am a service oriented computer professional. My goals include using technology to promote communication and cooperation among employees, removing barriers to innovation by providing technology based solutions and to reduce end user anxiety about using technology and help them feel in control of the tools I.T. provides.I have experience working with Telecom vendors and have participated in setting up and administering or supervising wide area networks. Key to this is having good relationships with vendors and understanding ticketing and escalation strategies. I have participated in multiple relocation projects and have experience setting up satellite locations using a flexible technology template. I understand the preparation that is required to successfully move people and technology with as little disruption as possible. I always seek to leverage existing technology to provide IT solutions, including the use of built-in and free tools to enhance support and IT management. I support the appropriate use of cloud collaboration and communication technologies to supplement or replace on premise, commodity IT products. This often provides the best end user experience and the most up-to-date solutions. I place a priority on developing the IT skills of those who work for me.
