Event Hospitality & Entertainment is a fast-paced, ASX200 hospitality, entertainment and leisure company, operating some of Australia’s biggest and best hospitality, lifestyle and youth brands. As a senior leader and member of the Group’s Executive team, I report directly to the CEO. In this role, I oversee communications for the group across all EVENT brands with a focus on APAC and USA markets, these include: - QT Hotels and Resorts- Rydges Hotels- Atura Hotels- Independent Hotel Collection- Event Cinemas- Moonlight Cinemas- Thredbo Alpine Resort- JUCY Snooze- State TheatreAlongside the above, I also lead and manage corporate, internal and crisis communications/issues for the business, supported by a small team. Destination NSW is the lead government agency for the New South Wales tourism and major events sectors.In my role, I was charged with developing, driving and managing domestic and international tourism and event PR campaigns globally, that contribute to raising awareness of, and visitation to, New South Wales destinations and events. This includes destination PR and media relations, consumer communications and promotional activities, with a specialist focus area on Destination NSW’s business activations and arts/entertainment portfolios.I was also responsible for the global communications management of Destination NSW’s owned-and-operated Vivid Sydney festival - the largest festival of it's kind in the world - with a core focus on driving PR campaign in key APAC and USA markets to drive visitation. This included leading PR strategy, sponsorship and partnership communications management, government relations, media and stakeholder relations - supported by a large agency team for execution.

Presto was Australia’s local subscription video on demand (SVOD) internet streaming service, and disruptor to Netflix. In this role I was a member of the Senior Leadership Team and reported directly to the CEO. I was part of the start-up team in launching this new technology product to the Australian marketplace.
