Technologies I have worked with include: Cloud (Amazon, Rackspace, Vmware and more), Large scale automation of linux clusters, cluster management, Linux containment via Docker, Docker registries, JVM, Clojure, Scala, Rule Engines/AI/logic programming, Ruby, Python, Erlang, Golang and Haskell. I have a preference for functional programming but am also comfortable shell scripting. I have also done quite a lot of web development and am fluent in javascript in various flavours.Verticals: Defence (Australian restricted clearance), Finance - Insurance, Banking, Logistics, Manufacturing automation.I speak frequently, have experience and success in spotting talent and recruitment, and provide advice both internally and externally in team structures and technology choices.
