• Led a multidisciplinary team through energization of Alberta’s largest towers and the first 500kV gas-insulated transmission line, while delivering $50MM+ of AC mitigation scope collaboratively with 25+ affected.
• Directed the design, construction, and commissioning of the Heartland Transmission Project, valued at over $700MM, amidst significant public scrutiny and substantial challenges in construction, safety, and regulatory.
• Built and fostered strong stakeholder relationships with key regulatory bodies (AUC, AESO), vendors, the public, contractors, and partners (EPCOR and ATCO).
• Established new enterprise-level guiding principles within an existing regulatory framework for managing AC mitigation, leading to the creation of a centralized delivery organization and a subsequent program leadership.
