• Lead projects with in-house sustainability and marketing teams at Fortune/FTSE 500 companies to turn systemic social and environmental risks into brand and business opportunities.• Identify unique response opportunities including business model innovation to deliver value to consumers in new ways, modernizing marketing approaches to build relevance with consumers, and stakeholder engagement to strengthen leadership approaches and positioning. Responsibilities include:• Designing and facilitating strategy workshops with C-Suite Executives• Designing stakeholder engagement processes and events• Leading materiality assessments and reporting projects• Managing team of Analysts to identify consumer and sustainability trends• Business development across wide range of sectors especially Food & Beverage, Retail, Apparel & Footwear, Financial Services, Energy and Industrials.Successes include:• Enhancing the resilience of a multinational CPG firm's business strategy by integrating circular economy principles into design processes, setting sustainability targets, and engaging the Millennial consumer base• Developing the first Corporate Responsibility Report for American Express in 8 years and helping a Japanese fashion retailer modernize their approach to sustainability reporting • Leading a multi-stakeholder group including Walmart, eBay, and Johnson & Johnson to investigate and live-test consumer engagement platforms for sustainable lifestyles • Helping green commodity organizations including Fair Trade International, the Marine Stewardship Council, and the Forest Stewardship Council to develop modern brand platforms to resonate with consumers (3 separate projects)
