• Collaborating with Bruker BioSpin to guide the development of the next-generation EPR instrument, the EMX Nano, essential to the execution of the “HDL Direct” assay
• Cultivating partnerships and client relationships with top-tier Pharma firms, including Alnylam, Inc, Zacharon Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Roche, Inc., Bristol Myers-Squibb, Merck, Inc., CSL Behring, Moderna Therapeutics.

• For more than 15 years, I've led a multidisciplinary research laboratory team of more than 20 Ph.D. and M.D. scientists and undergraduate students in solving key questions in cardiovascular disease research and therapy.
• Elucidating several key structure-function relationships in apolipoprotein A-I that define HDL’s role in cardiovascular disease
• Inventing Nanodisks, a highly effective and safe, in vivo drug delivery vehicle, that can improve therapeutic index of cargo molecules 15-fold
• Inventing the “HDL Direct” assay of HDL function, that accurately and precisely (3.5% coefficient of variability) diagnoses cardiovascular disease and metabolic syndrome; the first test of HDL that accurately assesses.
• Overcoming significant protein production yield challenges through development of effective protein expression and purification methodologies, improving highly optimized processes an additional 25-fold

I've had the privilege of consulting on a variety of scientific development initiatives, including proof of concept, pre-clinical investigation, grant writing, formulations, and evaluation of therapeutic efficacy. Key clients include Alnylam, Bristol Meyers Squibb, CrispR Therapeutics, CSL Behring, Merck, Moderna Therapeutics, Roche, and Zacharon.

• As the scientific lead, operations manager, and founder of this privately and Life Science Angels funded biotech company, I led a team of four technicians in the development of NanoDisks from concept and formulation.
• Directing the in vivo validation of ND-AMB formulation, establishing its 15-fold improvement in therapeutic index in addressing infectious disease, leading to creating a treatment of conditions not previously.
• Raising $2M+ in SBIR grant funding (NIH) and $600K in investments
